What Makes the Co-Fire Plancha Grill Unique?

Internal GrillRing

The defining feature of every Co-Fire fire pit BBQ is the internally mounted 8 mm thick GrillRing. On models with a fire bowl diameter up to 72 cm, simple spacers are welded underneath the GrillRing. From 80 cm onwards, the BASIC series, just like the PRO series, is equipped with adjustable steel supports.

These supports allow you to adjust the distance between the fire bowl and GrillRing according to your preferences. Unlike many competing fire pit grills, oil or grease does not run over the edge of the cooking plate onto your patio. Even more importantly, this design improves combustion. The gap between the fire bowl and GrillRing creates excellent airflow, smooth temperature zones and a relaxed grilling experience.

Deep Fire Bowl

Our extra-deep fire bowls are not only a visual highlight, but also help create a greater distance between the fire and the cooking plate. This makes grilling noticeably calmer and more comfortable. The temperature can also be regulated more easily.

We recommend using dry firewood that has been split several times. The type of wood plays a less important role with Co-Fire fire pit BBQs.

Cover Plate with Drip Edge

The Co-Fire cover plate is made from 2 mm Corten steel and mainly prevents rainwater from entering the fire bowl. The surrounding milled drip edge is especially useful for this purpose.

The cover plate rests directly on the rim of the fire bowl and protects the GrillRing positioned underneath. When required, it also effectively cuts off the oxygen supply, allowing the grill fire to extinguish safely and almost smoke-free.

Tip: a fire pit BBQ with cover plate can also be beautifully used as a plant stand, side table or bar table.

Plancha Grill BASIC – Especially Affordable and Always Expandable

The Plancha Grill BASIC is the ideal product for anyone who loves outdoor cooking, open fire and a warm, cosy atmosphere.

The complete sets, available up to a diameter of 100 cm, combine the warmth and flame ambience of a classic fire bowl with the versatility of a health-conscious GrillRing BBQ. It is important to place the BASIC at a safe distance from flammable materials. Suitable surfaces include a stone base, paving slab or gravel area.

All BASIC sets are delivered with stabilising ring, fire bowl, GrillRing and cover plate, but without a base. This allows us to offer this series at a particularly attractive price. If your placement or requirements change over time, we can supply a suitable base afterwards.

Which Accessories Are Available for Our Fire Pit BBQs?
