What Makes the Co-Fire Plancha Grill Unique?

Internal and Adjustable GrillRing

The defining feature of the Co-Fire Plancha Grill is the internally mounted 8 mm thick GrillRing. Starting from an 80 cm fire bowl diameter, the BASIC series is equipped with adjustable steel supports, identical to those used in the PRO series.

These supports allow you to customise the distance between the fire bowl and GrillRing according to your preferences. This creates excellent airflow and highly efficient combustion. Unlike many competing fire pit BBQs, grease and oil do not run over the edge of the cooking plate onto your patio.

The gap between the fire bowl and GrillRing also creates balanced temperature zones, allowing you to cook comfortably and prepare multiple dishes at the same time. With its generous 90 cm diameter, this plancha grill offers ample cooking space for larger gatherings.

Deep Fire Bowl

Our extra-deep fire bowls are not only visually impressive but also create more distance between the fire and the cooking surface. This improves heat control and makes grilling more comfortable and predictable.

For optimal results, we recommend using dry, well-seasoned firewood that has been split multiple times. With a Co-Fire fire pit BBQ, airflow and fuel quality are more important than the specific type of wood used.

Cover Plate with Drip Edge

The Co-Fire cover plate is manufactured from 2 mm Corten steel and prevents rainwater from entering the fire bowl. The integrated drip edge efficiently channels water away from the unit.

The cover plate rests directly on the rim of the fire bowl and protects the GrillRing from weather exposure. It can also be used to cut off the oxygen supply, allowing the fire to extinguish safely and almost smoke-free.

Tip: when the cover plate is installed, the fire pit BBQ can also be transformed into a decorative side table, bar table or plant stand.

Plancha Grill BASIC – Affordable and Easily Expandable

The Plancha Grill BASIC is designed for outdoor cooking enthusiasts who enjoy the warmth, atmosphere and experience of cooking over an open fire.

Available in complete sets up to 100 cm in diameter, the BASIC combines the charm of a traditional fire bowl with the versatility of a modern GrillRing BBQ. Always position the BASIC at a safe distance from flammable materials. Suitable surfaces include stone platforms, paving slabs or gravel areas.

All BASIC sets are supplied with a stabilising ring, fire bowl, GrillRing and cover plate, but without a base. This allows us to offer the series at a highly competitive price. If your needs change in the future, matching bases can easily be added later.
