Corten steel is known for its distinctive brown-orange rust color and exceptional durability. The natural oxidation layer forms a protective barrier that prevents further corrosion. As a result, this corten steel fire pit base is low-maintenance, weather-resistant, and built to last.

All corten steel bases are delivered in their original steel finish. Once exposed to outdoor conditions, the natural weathering process begins. Within a few months, the steel develops its characteristic warm rust appearance. A pre-weathered version is available on request (at additional cost).
